How we approach skin & laser
Lasers are tools, not treatments. The same fractional device is helpful for acne scarring and unsuitable for active inflamed acne; the same Q-Switched laser that lightens a tattoo can worsen melasma if used without care. What decides the outcome is the diagnosis behind the setting.
Every energy-based procedure here starts with the same questions: what is being targeted, what is the skin type, what has been used on this skin before, and how much downtime can you realistically accommodate.
This section explains each technology in patient language so you can recognise what is being proposed to you — here or anywhere else — and ask better questions about it.
What the first consultation involves
The diagnosis is confirmed first, then the appropriate technology and settings are discussed, along with the number of sessions and the recovery each one involves.
