How we approach anti-ageing
Facial ageing involves more than lines. Skin thins and loses collagen, fat pads descend and shrink, and bone support changes. Treating only one of those is why some results look odd; treating them in proportion is why others look simply well.
Injectables are medical procedures with anatomical risk, and are performed here by the dermatologist herself. Dose, placement and product are chosen for your anatomy, and you are told what each will and will not do.
Not everyone needs an injectable. For many patients in their late twenties and thirties, the right answer is sun protection, a retinoid, and a collagen-stimulating procedure — and you will be told that plainly if it applies to you.
What the first consultation involves
Your face is assessed at rest and in movement, your concerns and expectations are discussed, and the options — including doing nothing yet — are explained with their trade-offs.
