Editorial & Medical Review Policy
How the clinical information on this website is produced, who reviews it, and how errors are corrected.

Who reviews the content
All clinical pages are reviewed by Dr. Apurva Preetam Raut, MBBS, FCPS (Dermatology & Venereology), the consultant dermatologist at Mysa Derma, registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council under registration number 2016/07/1758. Each reviewed page carries her name and the date of the most recent review.
How pages are written
Pages describe conditions and treatments in patient language, explain what a procedure involves, give realistic session and downtime ranges, and state the possible side effects. Where a condition is chronic or a result is partial, the page says so.
We deliberately avoid the words “permanent”, “cure”, “guaranteed” and “painless” in relation to treatment outcomes, because they misrepresent what dermatological treatment can do.
What we do not publish
We do not publish patient photographs, testimonials or case details without explicit written consent from the patient concerned. We do not publish outcome statistics we cannot substantiate, and we do not publish comparisons that disparage other clinics or practitioners.
Reviews and updates
Clinical pages are reviewed periodically and whenever practice changes. The review date shown on a page reflects the last time its clinical content was checked, not merely when the page was edited.
Corrections
If you believe something on this website is inaccurate or misleading, please tell the clinic. Content found to be incorrect is corrected and the review date updated.
