Why the clinic exists
Most people arrive at a dermatologist having already tried several things — a cream someone recommended, a course of facials, a supplement, sometimes a steroid cream bought across the counter. By then the original problem has often been joined by a second one caused by the treatment.
Mysa Derma was founded to reverse that order. Skin and scalp conditions are examined first and named, then treated with what is appropriate for that diagnosis and that skin type. Where a condition is chronic — melasma, pattern hair loss, acne — that is said plainly, along with what management realistically looks like.
Dr. Apurva Raut has spent her career in hospital dermatology and in a busy cosmetic dermatology practice in Pune, where she led the clinical team at the Kharadi branch of Clear Skin & Hair MD. The clinic reflects what she learned there: that patients remember being told the truth about what a treatment can do far longer than they remember a discount.
